Barbara Gichuhi

Barbara is an associate with the firm working in the Commercial Department. Her main areas of interest and expertise include; Banking and Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, Commercial and Estate Planning Trust and Foreign Investment. She has previously been the lead associate in advising a Tier 3 Bank in structuring a Management Buyout Transaction involving Ksh 5 Billion. She has also advised an international firm on how set up shop in Kenya. Barbara has also been the lead advocate in defending a Banks interest involving a land dispute in the Supreme Court.

Barbara graduated from University College of London in 2018 with a Master’s Degree in International Commercial Law, has a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Degree, Second Class Honors Upper Division from Catholic University of Eastern Africa and a Post Graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. She is also an Arbitrator. Barbara was admitted to the Bar as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in the year 2017.
