Muchiri is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. He holds a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M) in Oil and Gas Law with Professional Skills from the University of Aberdeen in the United Kingdom. He is a Chevening Scholar having been awarded the prestigious Chevening Scholarship in the year 2015 by the United Kingdom (UK) Government to pursue his Master of Laws Degree.
Muchiri specializes in the Law relating to the Taxation of Upstream Oil and Gas, Contracting in Hydrocarbon Operations, State Control of Hydrocarbons, and Negotiation of Oil and Gas Contracts. Moreover, he has significant experience in Commercial Law Litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Employment Law. He is highly regarded by clients for his hands-on approach and
technical knowledge.
Muchiri is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a member of the Law Society of Kenya, and the East African Law Society.
